“Many people will be surprised at the diversity of accountancy”, according to Kees Wolfswinkel. He is one of Swart&co’s three managing partners. As registered accountant (RA), he has an advisory and coordinating role. “It is a great profession and we have interesting clients ranging from one-man businesses to multinationals.”

Mr. Wolfswinkel stands out as someone who can change gear quickly, notice connections and faultlessly link problems to solutions. “Our clients appreciate direct contact with the managing partner.” This is one of the advantages of a relatively small accounting firm: it has few organisational layers, lacks sluggish procedures, and charges favourable rates. “In spite of being a smallish firm, we have had the honour to be issued with a license which has been issued to us, as one of a limited number of accounting firms, under the Accounting Firms (Supervision) Act 2005 (WTA license).”

“It’s true that my wife deserves my undivided attention, but I am also passionate about classic cars and vessels. Part of my spare time is devoted to my classic wooden Petterson boat, built in Sweden in 1921: a gem! Besides that, I fancy sports adventures, e.g., a flying course, parachute jumping and gliding.”
